In 2005, Ministry of Endowments and Religion Affairs has founded this college under the name of (Kurdistan College) that its aim was to prepare Imams and Preachers.
        This college consisted of two departments:  Preparing Imams and Preachers Dept. in Sulaimani and Preparing Imams and Preachers Dept. in Halabja.
